Teacher of Mathematics - Senior School

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding, well-qualified teacher of Mathematics to teach engaged and committed students across all age groups.

The successful candidate would be expected to teach up to and including A Level, and good experience with teaching Mechanics would be advantageous. Mathematics is a successful and popular subject at St Andrew’s, with multiple classes running in Years 12 and 13 and Further Mathematics an option for our top students. As a full boarding school, St Andrew’s is committed to providing a vibrant co-curricular and boarding program to which all staff contribute. The successful candidate will be an academic tutor and attached to a specific boarding house for duties.

The successful candidate would commence employment on 1 September 2023.

• A clear passion for Mathematics and the teaching thereof
• A good degree in your teaching subject and relevant teaching experience (minimum 2 years)
• Experience in pastoral care (boarding school experience is desirable)
• A strong work ethic and a track record of working well in a team
