Tupande Strategy and Operations Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic projects: You will report directly to the Tupande Strategy and Operations Manager and execute critical strategic projects needed in order to achieve Tupande's vision.
• Internal secondments: You would spend a significant portion of your time embedded fully into critical functions to provide short-term support on critical strategic projects and functions.
• Team coordination and internal communications. You will support the activities of the Tupande leadership team and coordinate team meetings and internal communications.

Qualifications

• We are seeking candidates with 3+ years work experience. You will have a background in managing complex projects and coordinating across multiple teams in a fast-growing organization, and a propensity for innovation. Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:
• Project management and stakeholder management skills. 3+ years of management consulting experience preferred.
• Proficient at understanding motivations of different groups and teams and supporting them to work together.
• Analytically minded, using data coupled with sound business judgement to influence business decisions.
• Proficient with Microsoft office suite and Google Suite.
• Humility. We are looking for passionate professionals who combine strong professional skills with good humor, patience and a humble approach to service.
• A passion for Tupande by One Acre Fund’s vision based on a genuine and humble commitment to serving farmers.
• At a minimum, a Bachelor’s degree is required for this position. Post-graduate degree preferred.
• Language: English required, Swahili a plus.
