• As a Community manager, you are a community member first, and will help connect developers, SREs, administrators who are building things with Grafana. That starts with things like helping run a champions program, improve our forums, help with swag and other facets, but the big picture is about owning the process of how we get more people involved and contributing. You will participate in events, conferences, meetups, and possibly open source governance as well. A big plus for us is if you already participate meaningfully (in any capacity) in open source communities such as Kubernetes, Prometheus, CNCF, or OpenTelemetry.
• We work in the R&D part of the organization, alongside product managers and engineers. The aim of the role is to grow and foster communities of users building cool stuff.

The Types Of Things You Will Be Doing Include

• Manage and grow the Grafana Champions program of our best & most valued contributors
• Act as an ally and colleague of external practitioners who are getting started
• Build relationships with people across the community, to support & inspire
• Own the continuous improvement of the forums where Grafana community connection takes place (slack, discourse, and others).

• As a Senior FullStack Engineer in the Enterprise Data Sources squad you will play a vital role in the development of a wide range of Enterprise plugins. Our goals revolve around building new enterprise data sources plugins, improving our existing plugins, supporting customers, and also building a more robust development and testing strategy. You are expected to collaborate on other projects across the Data Sources larger team and the Grafana division. We are currently on a growth track and are constantly reviewing our ways of working to make sure they are scalable and accessible to everyone.
• Data source plugins we own:
  • AppDynamics, Azure, BigQuery, DataBricks, DataDog, DB2, DynaTrace, Gitlab, HoneyComb, Jira, Looker, MongoDB, New, Oracle, SalesForce, SAP, Service, SignalFx, SnowFlake, Splunk, SQLyze/ODBC and Wavefront
• A typical “day in the life” could include:
  • Building full stack enterprise Grafana plugins to integrate third party services into Grafana
  • Innovating our plugin system to allow for enhanced capabilities
  • Coming up with suggestions for process improvements
  • Providing technical support in customer escalations
  • Working closely with the rest of the Grafana Division; Plugins Platform, UX, and Observability teams.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed individual quarterly and annual sales goals
• Manage all aspects of the sales process (prospecting, sales meetings, product demos, proofs of concept, proposals, negotiations and account management)
• Cultivate sales through outbound prospecting and inbound leads
• Be able to understand and convey the value of both Grafana Cloud and Grafana Enterprise
• Become an expert in managing your sales pipeline in Salesforce
• Manage pipeline generation, order processing, and day-to-day customer requests

Requirements

• 5+ Years of Experience in Infrastructure Technology Sales
• 10 years of software sales experience
• Demonstrated history of consistent goal achievement in a highly competitive environment (top 10% performer)
• Experience using Salesforce
• Familiarity selling open source technology
• Experience using Command of the Message and MEDD(P)ICC
• Located in Israel Region
• Must be fluent in Hebrew

• This is an exciting opportunity to be an early member of our new, elite Customer Solutions Engineering team. This team will be our in-house, customer-facing solution experts. The Customer Solutions Engineer is a deep technical and sales specialist who will own the platform adoption and expansion experience for Grafana's customers. They will be responsible for the rapid and successful application of our technology. The Customer SE team enables Grafana Labs’s worldwide growth by educating existing customers to ensure they are happy and successful. We share our technical and product expertise with customers through demos, hands-on enablement, presentations, design guidance, technical evaluations and ongoing interaction. We also partner closely with our Sales team to help qualify and close opportunities. The Customer SE team is also one of the primary communication routes from our customers through into the Product Management and Engineering teams.

Your Impact

• Provide general design and implementation guidance and help to implement Grafana Cloud (including applicable data sources, authentication, alerting, dashboards, and more)
• Educating and enabling viewers, editors, and architects how to leverage the Grafana stack
• Perform Monthly health checks and identify trends from support tickets. Help escalate accordingly. Assist in RCA.
• Assist with building/modifying critical SLA dashboards within the production environment.
• Work closely with our sales team to articulate the overall Grafana value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.
• Propose, design, create, and present prototypes, demos, and proofs-of-concept to a wide variety of audiences, from engineers to SREs.

• The Solutions Engineering team are the customer facing product experts. The team enables Grafana Labs worldwide growth by educating potential and existing customers to ensure that they are happy and successful. We partner closely with our Sales team to help qualify and close opportunities. The Solutions Engineering team is one of the primary routes of communication from our customers to the Product Management and Engineering teams.
• A Solutions Engineer is able to really listen to a prospect or customer, understand their requirements, ask the right questions to extract as much information as required and translate all that into a solution with Grafana Labs technology. They are the bridge between the highly technical engineering folks here at Grafana Labs, our customers and our Sales team.

This role will be for the Eastern Time zones of the Americas & European UnionThe Observability team is part of the Experience team in the Grafana Division. We are responsible for a wide range of Observability related plugins(such as Elastic, DataDog, Prometheus, Loki etc.), panels, UI components and the Explore page. We also contribute to other projects across the division. Our next goals revolve around improving our end-to-end observability workflow investing in new ways to get insights from our telemetry data. All of this while maintaining our existing plugins, supporting the community & customers and also building a more robust testing strategy. We are currently on a growth track and are constantly reviewing our ways of working to make sure they are scalable and accessible to everyone.

What we work on

1. The team collaborates on reviewing feature requests from the OSS community and our customer base, identifying high level roadmap themes and overall driving the direction of observability at Grafana Labs.
2. Our business as usual includes raising and fixing bugs, developing and testing new features, trialing innovative ideas for our products, close collaboration with UX, contributing to design docs and more.
3. We are currently focusing on enhancing the observability workflow in Grafana by developing seamless logs-metrics-traces integrations, further developing the Explore page functionality, improving our CI/CD and testing pipelines."
