ROLE SUMMARY

• The Meetings, External Engagements, & Travel (MEET) In-Market Service Ambassador Manager will be responsible for serving as the POC for event preparation and walkthroughs, post-event feedback and analysis, and on-site event day support in Africa. This role will also provide live support as needed and assist with promoting MPA accountability. Finally, this role will serve as the first point of contact for North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa and ELI for any escalations or non-standard requests for support.
• This Manager will demonstrate accountability and integrity in the face of challenge and respond to change with agility, optimism, and innovation. They will collaborate cross-functionally across the organization to help identify opportunities for continuous improvement that will allow the MEET organization to better serve its customers. 

This role will be based in Africa, work with the regional operations team, payments team, and other COEs as appropriate, and report directly to the EMEA Regional Service Ambassador Lead.

Role Responsibilities

• Serve as first-line for Business representatives who come to the MEET organization with issues, questions, or non-standard requests for support regarding card support, travel, PT&E, payment issues, and other event needs.
• Work to resolve issues as possible or escalate to the applicable / accountable MEET team as needed.
• Represent MEET as the face to the business for in-market customers.
• Support MEET regional team for key event activities including event preparation and walkthrough, post-event feedback and analysis, on-site support, and customer care.
• Work with the EMEA Regional Service Ambassador Lead to identify opportunities to improve the customer experience for healthcare providers and Pfizer customers.
• Provide on-site meetings and event support.
• Standardize the customer experience to ensure alignment with global model.
• Oversee MPA completion project plan (in coordination with MEET regional team as needed)
• Perform demand management forecasts to help MPAs better plan their staffing needs.
• Track issues and resolutions, providing reports to regional leads.

Typical Years of Experience:

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES 

• The Snr. Medical Manager reports directly to the Country Medical Director in the respective Market/Cluster.
• As a customer-facing medical function, the Snr. Medical Manager, will have 75% of his time in the Field.
• The Snr. Medical Manager is responsible for managing and developing MSL  in his designated TA (if applicable)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 

• Medical doctor (MBChB or MD) registered locally with Health Professions Council of South Africa is a minimum requirement. Additional qualifications are welcome
• More than 4 years Pharmaceutical Medical Affairs experience

ROLE SUMMARY

• The Access and Engagement Director East & Central Africa will be based in Nairobi, Kenya and will play a key role on prioritized Accord countries to access Pfizer’s full medicines portfolio by engaging government officials, provide an overview of the Accord, identify health needs and provide a frame work of collaboration under the Accord principles.
• The Access and Engagement Director role presents and exciting opportunity to take part in the game changing initiative Accord for a Healthier World, supporting patient access to Pfizer’s current and future medicines portfolio in 45 lower income countries around the world.
• This position works with a multidisciplinary team on designing and implementing engagement initiatives in his/her geographical scope by engaging government officials, understanding the country’s health needs, providing an overview of the initiative and establishing a collaboration framework under the Accord principals.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Proactively identifies and assess country’s needs for the Accord implementation.
• Actively participates in country negotiations and leverages Pfizer internal resources to drive solutions that accelerates implementation of the Accord. 
• Provides insights to a cross collaboration team (Corporate Affairs, Legal, Access, Supply Chain etc)  to remove road blocks for patients to get access to medicines.

Job Summary

Summarize the primary purpose & key accountabilities of the job.

• This position is responsible for protecting Pfizer’s assets throughout the assigned region. In addition to investigating a wide variety of threats to those assets – thefts, fraud, trafficking in counterfeit Pfizer products and other product integrity matters – supports and provides guidance to those with physical security responsibility across the region and, in collaboration with the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) and other Global Security colleagues.
• Supports the management of crisis incidents that impact sites within the region. As an investigator and case manager, incumbent shall develop, implement, manage, and refine comprehensive strategies designed to identify security threats in today's global marketplace, while facilitating a swift and effective organizational response in the event an incident or threat is discovered to have the potential to compromise patient safety or brand integrity. Will provide investigative support as needed to Compliance Investigations; Global Information Security; Employee Relations; Global Security’s Fraud and Physical Risk Mitigation groups, while working closely with Global Security’s Strategic Intelligence Group, and provide investigative support for other business needs as required. Will facilitate key business unit requests and cultivate internal partnerships with Global Security colleagues, business functions, business leaders including Country Cluster Leads, Site leaders, Site Security, and Information Security Officers to support all Global Security, Compliance, and Pfizer business in the region.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage investigations (counterfeits, diversion, theft, fraud, and other security matters) initiated through product complaints, law enforcement agency referrals and initiated internally through Global Security.
• Develops sources of information, witnesses, and conducts investigations to disrupt transnational criminal activity involving the manufacturing and trafficking of fake Pfizer medicines and grey market products that pose a risk to patients, and resolves other investigative matters that impact Pfizer business activities in assigned region in coordination with the other GS colleagues and Security Director - Africa.
• Coordinates investigations as appropriate with law enforcement agencies; monitors all investigations until a final disposition; and provide expert witness testimony to both domestic and foreign law enforcement proceedings.
• Provides oversight of services of outside consultants operating in Africa to support investigations.
• Responsible for case management of assigned investigative matters.

• Works in partnership with the wider Corporate Affairs and cross functional teams to effectively engage with policy makers globally, regionally (e.g., Africa Union, Africa CDC and AMA) and local government to integrate their perspective into our policy strategy and to provide industry thought leadership to support policy shaping to facilitate patient access to Pfizer’s current and future innovative medicines.

Therapeutic Area Policy

• Works in partnership with the EM Therapeutic Policy teams, Global Patient Advocacy team, local PPA Leads and Accord Team to developinnovative policy strategies that proactively shape the environment and support patient access to Pfizer's innovative medicines through the Accord program.

Leadership

PURPOSE

• The MSL, as a customer facing colleague, will have 90% of their time in the Field.
• Serve as a conduit and resource for Medical Information and customer insights, providing requested information to HCPs as allowed by Pfizer guidance and sharing customer viewpoints with Pfizer as appropriate.
• Maintain required level of knowledge of relevant TA/disease states and Pfizer medicines, providing therapeutic area/product information to both internal and external stakeholders as needed

Role Responsibilities

• Medical/Clinical partner of the Global Commercial Access Partnership Team working on AAHW in French-speaking countries.
• Medical support of cross-functional activities related to use of Pfizer products in Emerging Markets focused on access to vulnerable patient populations. This will include medical interactions with civil society, activist groups, government agencies and non-governmental organizations.
• Provide an integrated medical view for the EM portfolio as it relates to use of Pfizer products particularly as this relates to institutional buyers, developing world Ministries of Health and non-governmental organizations.
• Serve to facilitate and create when needed, a consultative network for advancing Pfizer Public Health and access goals as they relate to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• MD with board certification and license in medical discipline(s)
• Minimum of 7 years medical affairs or clinical drug development experience and expertise. Must have in-depth knowledge of multiple therapeutic area(s), drug development, and regulatory submission pathways – global experience required with particular expertise in emerging markets
• Proven track record of medical and clinical trial strategy development and successful execution

The candidate is expected to be an independent thinker, capable of working and thinking autonomously, and able to clearly articulate financial insights to colleagues at all levels. This role will provide leadership on various financial matters and will be a senior member of the Finance team, working collaboratively with other colleagues in Finance, and always upholding our values of integrity.

Position Responsibilities

• Manage operating plan and forecasting cycles, coordinating between the different stakeholders and ensuring all deliverables are met on time.
• Monthly analysis and commentary of net revenues, cost of sales, operating expenses, receivable, and other major balance sheet items.
• Monthly presentations of financial performance / position to local and regional leaders.
• Monthly inventory reviews, including expiries, obsolescence assessments, and partnering with stakeholders to optimise inventory levels.
• Liaising between stakeholders in Finance and other departments to optimize Accounts Receivable position and cashflows.
• Proactively work with internal stakeholders to preempt risk and identify opportunity and ensure appropriate communication to relevant stakeholders.
• Partner closely with other Finance stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting of financial performance and position.
• Ensuring timely submissions of financial data into key financial systems during financial cycles.
• Other periodic analyses, including pricing and profitability, and inventory mark-ups.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses as requested by the Business Finance Director and participate in local projects in SSA.
• Actively participate in, and potentially lead, certain MERA-wide Business Finance projects and other enterprise initiatives.

Education And Experience

• Essential in this position is a financial qualification (e.g. Accounting/ Finance/ Economics/ Business or Analytical emphasis)
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience, preferably in a multinational environment
• Experience in FMCG or pharmaceutical industries is key
• Professional Affiliations/Qualifications (CIMA, CA, CPA, ACCA, etc.) will be an added advantage

Job Summary

• As a customer facing colleague, the MSL will have 90% of their time in the Field.
• The role will act as a critical interface with identified scientific leaders and will build regional, national or international relationships to contribute to understanding of diseases, research and scientific trends, clinical practice guidelines, treatment patterns in areas relevant to our business.
• Serve as a conduit and resource for Medical Information and customer insights, providing requested information to HCPs as allowed by Pfizer guidance and sharing customer viewpoints with Pfizer as appropriate.
• Maintain required level of knowledge of relevant TA/disease states and Pfizer medicines, providing therapeutic area/product information to both internal and external stakeholders as needed
• Execute Medical strategy and engagement for appropriate assigned customers compliantly coordinating with other Pfizer colleagues as needed to achieve Medical objectives
• Deliver approved medical content about Pfizer medicines and relevant topics in the designated therapeutic area focusing on the relevant stakeholders and customers.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understand the priorities of Pfizer Medical Affairs in the respective TA in order to contribute to execute aligned Field Medical tactics
• Provide education on the clinical impact of Pfizer medicines to help inform customer decision-making and improve patient outcome through the communication of real-world data analyses, and medical presentations.
• Provide objective and scientifically sound medical information regarding Pfizer’s medicines and the diseases they prevent through educational programs and scientific collaboration.
• Identify and seek medical engagement from the assigned customers
• Share internally the insights from the customers, and identify opportunities for collaboration to improve patient care
• Execute mutually beneficial customer-specific projects, collaborations, strategic medical partnerships, and non-interventional studies with the goal of advancing quality of care and improving patient outcomes
• Maintain significant market and customer knowledge in an increasingly complex and dynamic marketplace
• Manage a significant volume of projects developed in a field-based environment, while exhibiting the ability to prioritize, successfully implement, and demonstrate excellent judgment skills.
• Demonstrate expertise in communication across multiple channels, including, but not limited to, live and virtual presentations in small or large settings, written communication or virtual conversations
• Optimize patient centricity of Medical communications and deliverables, to ensure that patients remain the ultimate focus
• Appropriately provide Medical support throughout the Investigator Sponsored Research (ISR) process
• Cultivate research and therapeutic area expertise, including familiarity with latest congress data and disease state literature
• To develop and maintain ongoing cross-functional working relationships with Pfizer colleagues within the in-country, above-country and global organisation.
