About You And The Role

• As an Implementations Program Manager, you will work at the intersection of cutting-edge engineering, cost-effective supply chain, manufacturing, quality, complex healthcare systems, and highly regulated airspaces. This position will sit on the New Implementations Team at Zipline. We are looking for a versatile operational leader, strong in strategy and execution with proven success delivering cross-functional, implementation programs efficiently and on time.

What You'll Do
You will serve as a hands-on Program Manager for the complex, cross-disciplinary initiatives to grow our program with Elton John Aids Foundation in Kisumu, Kenya, as well as, other healthcare programs. This role is also responsible for identifying opportunities and creating systems and processes that allow for faster launches at scale.

• Set and communicate program objectives and priorities.
• Interact, integrate, and drive results across cross-functional teams in-country operations, aviation regulatory, software, sales, etc.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate the appropriate Implementation Plan ranging from when we will achieve a milestone to specific launch dates.
• Partner with Customer Success and Zipline’s customers to design operational workflows and plans that meet the customer’s needs.
• Work closely with Zipline policy and legal teams to unlock approvals for launches.
• Ensure critical cross-team efforts are well owned (including owning some yourself) such as developing efficient and compliant operation procedures, executing on-launch strategies, or root-causing complex problems to overcoming blockers.
• Lead cross-functional retrospectives and process improvement efforts.
• Ensure implementation processes are followed and be the cross-disciplinary decision maker when exceptions should be made.
• Continuously perform relevant risk and opportunity analyses to stay ahead of the game and address problems before they impact the program.
• Provide clear updates at both the working and executive level.
• Create and refine processes and templates across Programs, including things like handoff documentation, scheduling, risk tracking, etc.

• A strong track record of program managing multiple complex implementation programs (minimum 5 years of experience)
• Experience implementing customer-facing, complex initiatives with many cross-functional stakeholders.
• Excellent computer skills, especially with communication tools and program management tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel 30% of the time

What You'll Do  

Strategy and vision setting for the community team: Owning the strategy and vision of the community team and having a bold and clear multi-year vision for how the community team is supporting the company's success.

• Understand the company’s overall strategy and objectives and setting team vision and roadmap that support the business needs. 
• Strategic understanding of the community role lifecycle (phases) and defining success criteria for each phase. Developing a growth strategy that is tailored to the team’s and company’s needs and objectives and ensure the team is sustainable and continues to evolve over the long term. 
• Identifying the key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with the team's goals and objectives, and that can be measured effectively. The metrics should be risk assessed and continuously assessed to ensure that they remain relevant and responsive to the business vision.

CL Execution and Partnership: You will play a critical role in fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, analyzing data for insights, creating compelling storytelling tools, and effectively communicating the community team's impact to stakeholders and the company.

• Building and maintaining reliable and strong working relationships with primary stakeholders, both internal and external to the company. This will involve effective communication, stakeholder mapping, and timely responses to their inquiries.
• Analyzing community data trends and developing reporting tools to provide visibility and communicate the impact of the community team's efforts to stakeholders and the company. This will involve data-driven analysis to assess the effectiveness of community initiatives and convey the outcomes to relevant parties.
• ​​Creating storytelling tools to share impactful stories about the community's positive experiences with Zipline's services. This will help the entire company better understand the significance of Zipline within the community, and further enhance community goodwill.

• Oversee a team of community leads, in charge of raising public awareness of Zipline services, creating strong and dependable connections with community stakeholders, promoting goodwill and acting as the company’s public face.
• Research and dedicated ownership to determine the best strategies to quickly hire and onboard new community leads and getting them excited about Zipline’s mission and vision
• Make sure the team has the resources they need to carry out their tasks effectively. This includes training, tools, and ongoing support. Be available to answer questions and provide guidance when needed.
• Providing exceptional performance management to ensure community leads are meeting goals and driving Zipline business outcomes. This will help ensure that the team stays on track and continues to improve over time

About You And The Role

• The Programme Officer will work closely with the Global Technical Manager - Donor Programs, The Country General Manager, Donor teams, Team Leads, Fulfillment and Flight Operations Teams Counties, and youth-led and youth-focused organizations and institutions, in supporting EJAF to meet the intended medium to long-term goals of the programme.

What You'll Do
High-Level Strategic Support

• Engage stakeholders & partners to optimize cost and mobilize resources for the program.
• Coordinate and support the designing and execution of a work plan that will outline stakeholder engagements, program research activities, events execution, and stakeholder feedback.
• Contribute towards the design of a work plan that will see stakeholders sensitized through workshops and capability-building sessions
• Organize and execute capacity development sessions for peer mentors, CHVs, Health Service Providers, and youth organization leads.
• Plan and develop a sustainable network-building plan with external partners (Local and International).
• Coordinate communication of data to the different stakeholders. Data communicated will aid in producing knowledge on specific aspects of the projects, stakeholder expectations, and milestones attained by the project.
• Contribute to and/or write short reports and other documents disseminating EJAF work and communicating our activities and results to stakeholders.
• Contribute to discussions at seminars and conferences linked to the program activities.

Workstream Management

• Develop and execute an integrated work plan that will engage sub-county HMTs, Youth-focused and Youth-led organizations, local and international NGOs, and Civil Societies working within our areas of interest and coverage.
• Promote an integrated approach to the implementation of Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH), and HIV/AIDS services.
• Support with planning, attending, and executing technical meetings related to SRH, and HIV/AIDS.
• Interact with key stakeholders at the sub-county level and maintain a solid working relationship with partners involved in running the EJAF’s SRH activities.
• Participate in the planning of stakeholder capacity-building activities and coordinate training as per the planned schedule.
• Provide support to the community events coordinator.
• Support in program administration including inputs to budget, strategic partnerships mapping, and program reporting activities.
• Develop short narratives and reports that quantify and qualify the impact of the program on the communities and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate service providers for all community events.
• Support in preparing, processing, and executing technical services contracts/agreements, SOPs, and policies.
• Liaise with and support EJAF partners through electronic communication and/or traveling to counties to provide support in the design and implementation of the EJAF’s DSD model.

What You'll Bring

• A graduate degree in Public health, Community Health, program Planning, or a related field.
• Relevant professional experience of at least 5 years working within the donor space. Having an experience in will be an added advantage
• Experience in Adolescent and Young Adults programming is a strong asset.
• Experience in conducting research and an interest in public health, health systems strengthening in Kenya
• Ability to manage effectively tasks of various sizes, from small to complex, and simultaneous competing demands, and to deliver on time.
• Fluency in English and Swahili
• Excellent analytical, written, facilitation, and oral communication skills.

• Build and lead a team of talented marketers responsible for growing awareness and driving demand for Zipline’s instant delivery service across the continent.
• Own the marketing strategy for Zipline’s Africa business and work closely with cross functional teams to execute on your vision.
• Lead sales enablement, high-touch marketing campaigns and events, and online growth for Zipline’s Africa business. 
• Work with our customers to tell their stories across our owned channels and partner with comms to identify earned media opportunities.

• 10 - 15  years of proven experience leading marketing and building great teams.
• Experience defining and leading marketing for technology companies in complex, fast-moving markets.
• Experience in health tech, global health, public health or health tech would be very relevant for this role, but not mandatory. 
• An ability to both execute on and communicate the results and impact of your team’s marketing strategy. 
• Ability to prioritize and balance conflicting demands while leading multiple simultaneous initiatives. 
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; the ability to demonstrate expertise with  colleagues at all levels of the company.
