Job Description

• Ensure all kitchen equipment is well maintained, in good working conditi
• Prepare ingredients for cooking and have meals ready in good time for staff and student
• Ensure  that  high  standards  of  hygiene  and  cleanliness  is  maintained  while preparing and producing food in the kitchen, to meet the required standards of practice on a daily basis.
• Ensure that all food produced in the kitchen are high standard to satisfy students’ and staff needs and expectations.
• Check constantly at the service counter and coordinate the cooks to replenish of cooked food to ensure continuous service and sufficient supply of food to students and staff.
• Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by a senior officer

Job Requirements for Appointment

• Kenyan Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade at least D+ (plus) or its approved equivalent
• Craft Certificate/Trade Test III
• At least two (2) years relevant work experience
