Purpose of consultancy

To conduct business analysis and technical input for the WHO CAP platform, including the development of business requirements, communicating with stakeholders, and testing of new functionality.    

Deliverables

  • Deliverable 1 - Analyse the impact of proposed improvements/changes to the solution and provide analysis and options to the Change Control Board.
    Expected date: by 30 June 2023
  • Deliverable 2 - Apply new functionality, including communication with the developer and conducting user acceptance testing. 
    Expected date: by 30 June 2023
  • Deliverable 3 - Provide Tier 1 and 2-level technical support, assisting users with problems and reporting issues to Tier 3. 
    Expected date: by 30 June 2023
  • Deliverable 4 - Test the platform to ensure there are no performance issues.
    Expected date: by 30 June 2023

Qualifications, experience, skills and languages

Educational Qualifications:

Essential:

  • A first university degree in public or global health, business, social sciences, international affairs or related fields.
  • Project management certification.

Desirable:

  • Master’s degree or post-graduate diploma in the above-mentioned or related fields.
  • Certification in relevant IT topics, such as Azure, ITIL, cybersecurity, or Power BI is a plus.

Experience

Essential:

  • At least 4 years of relevant experience working on information technology-focused work or projects. 
  • Experience working with survey tools. 
  • Experience collecting and communicating business requirements as well as testing web platforms and mobile apps. 

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in projects related to access to medicine. 
  • Prior experience with international organizations, preferably with WHO.

Skills/Knowledge:

Essential:

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, computer literacy and technical writing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain high efficiency in a multicultural environment.
  • Proactive, flexible, resourceful and able to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Understanding of data management and analytics. 
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams and Azure DevOps. 
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, Azure, Power BI and JavaScript.
