- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean Grade D+ or its equivalent qualification.
- Passed Occupational Trade Test II for drivers.
- Driving License Class ABCE (with PSV endorsement).
- First Aid certificate.
- Certificate of Intensive defensive driving.
- Five (5) years driving buses and trucks exceeding 9000kgs tare weight in a busy company/Institution in Grade 4.
