DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Offering general diagnostic or other laboratory services in a medical laboratory.
  • Offering blood transfusion services.
  • Supervising safe Laboratory waste disposal.
  • Carrying out efficacy tests: Initiating requisition proposals and undertaking technical evaluation for laboratory supplies/equipment
  • Mentoring and coaching of Student on attachment.
  • Submitting samples to reference Laboratories and Institutes for further analysis
  • Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Terms of Service: Contract Terms (three years renewable)
REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT

  • Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences from Kenya Medical Training College or any other Institution recognized by the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board.
  • Be registered by the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board as a Registered Medical Laboratory Technologists.
  • Valid Practicing License from the Medjcal Laboratory Technicians and Technologist Board of Kenya.
