JOB PURPOSE

The Manager, Corporate Communications will beresponsible for branding and development of communication and marketingstrategy for the Board to ensure the brand visibility and ensure effective servicedelivery by the Board.

DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES

The duties andresponsibilities of the officer will entail:-

  • Developing, managing, and overseeing the implementation of communication strategy and policy;
  • Managing corporate events;
  • Developing and managing information, education, and communication materials;
  • Ensuring a positive corporate image of the Board;
  • Managing corporate communications;
  • Managing and providing media liaison services; and
  • Developing managing and overseeing the implementation of corporate social responsibility programs

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

For appointment to this grade, an officer must: -

  • Have at least eight (8) years relevant workexperience three (3) of which should have been in supervisory role;
  • Have Bachelors Degree in Communications orequivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
  • Have Masters Degree in Communication or equivalentqualification from a recognized institution;
  • Have Professional qualification and membershipwhere applicable;
  • Have Management course lasting not less four (4)weeks from a recognized institution;
  • Have Demonstrated results in work performance; and
  • Fulfil the requirements of Chapter Six of theConstitution.
