Medical Laboratory Technologists III – 5 Positions at Nyamira County Public Service Board

The mandate of the Board is contained in section 59 of the County Government Acts 2012. These include establishing and abolishing offices in the County Public Service, appointing persons who hold and act in offices of the Public service among others. Requirements for Appointment: –

• Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology/Sciences from a recognized institution;
• Must be registered with Kenya Medical Laboratory technician and technology Board (KMLTTB); and
• Must possess a valid practicing license from KMLTTB.

Duties and Responsibilities:-

• Conduct routine and complex hematological, clinical chemistry, histological and serological tests;
• Conduct laboratory procedures involving manual or automated techniques;
• Prioritize and organize work to meet changing and multiple demands and any other roles; and
• Any other responsibilities assigned from time to time
