Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Implementing, reviewing and interpreting administrative policies, strategies, procedures and programme;
  2. Managing and supervising the general administration services;
  3. Implementing public service reforms;
  4. Facilitating maintenance of infrastructure and facilities
  5. Planning and coordinating office accommodation; and
  6. Managing county government assets.

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, an officer must:

  1. Eighteen (18) years of working experience in the Public Service or Private Service.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Public Administration; Business Administration/Management, Community Development or any other Social Science from a recognized institution;
  3. Master’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Public Administration: Business Administration/Management, Community Development or any other Social Science from a recognized institution; andCertificate in computer application skills
