The senior Infrastructure Architect is responsible for evaluating business requirements by leveraging software, data, and infrastructure. The role acts as a bridge and is responsible for mapping these requirements into technology solutions.

The role focuses on applying the different elements of business, information, and technology in solving problems while maximizing the return on technology investment. The architect identifies reviews, and proposes the various building blocks that will actively lead the technical vision to success.

He/She reviews deviations from specifications and ensures that relevant technical strategies, policies, standards, and practices are applied correctly.

Ideal Job Specifications

• Degree in Science/computer science/Engineering/Business related degree from a reputable institution. A master’s degree in Information Technology or an MBA will be an added advantage.
• Training and certification in IT Service Management, e.g., ITIL, COBIT, ISO
• IT Architecture Training and Certification, e.g., TOGAF
• Infrastructure and Cloud related certification and training
• Business Continuity training
• 8+ years’ experience in IT applications, infrastructure or security operations, and management
• 4+ years professional experience in IT solution architecture, deployment of APIs, cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes experience is desirable
• Solid grasp of design patterns and principles, particularly Object-Oriented Design (OOD), Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Microservice Architecture (MSA), and Event-Driven Architecture (EDA).

Job Purpose Statement

The Senior Manager, CRM Systems role is to plan, organize, and manage staff and overall operations that facilitate the stable operation of the bank’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, Feedback Systems, Policy Hub and other peripheral applications and system integrations. In collaboration with external vendors, system experts and information security experts the Senior Manager, CRM Systems will schedule and direct activities to resolve software and service problems within the CRM and related platforms in a timely and accurate fashion.

Ideal Job Specifications

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science /Information Technology - Minimum 2nd Upper Class honours.
• Minimum 7 years working experience in a busy IT environment with a hands-on role in implementing and development Workflows & Business Automation Systems e.g.  Customer Relationships Management Systems (CMRM), MS SharePoint and MS Power Platform.
• 2-3 years management experience.
• Certified in MS Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and/or Power Platform.
• Experienced in Microsoft Dynamic CRM, Microsoft SQL Server, and Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate & Power BI) and C #.Net & ASP.net Web development.
• Experience of working in the IT function within a banking environment will be an advantage.

JOB PURPOSE STATEMENT

Under the guidance of the chief dealer, you will assist in the implementation of the Global Market trading strategy in line with the NCBA Bank Global Markets Trading strategy and requirements. You will undertake proprietary trading in the permitted asset classes, as well as manage currency and interest rate positions that the bank holds. You will be managing risk, liquidity and exposure and you will support and manage all aspects of the trading desk. You will be responsible for handling and understanding risks associated with Treasury products such as FX Spot, Forwards & Swaps, FX Options, Non Deliverable Forwards, Rates trading and any other structured product within the approved risk appetite and portfolio standards. The role should contribute to the organization through better pricing and risk management while providing an information service to the Group.

JOB PURPOSE STATEMENT

To effectively source and on board new Corporate, Commercial and higher tier SME Operating Lease customers. The position is accountable for ensuring that good quality operating lease prospects and pipeline are properly developed managed and effectively and efficiently transitioned to disbursements in a timely manner and within the Banks Risk Acceptance Criteria (RAC) while ensuring any exceptions to the RAC is proactively obtained.

Job Purpose Statement

The Senior Manager, Core Banking Development role is to plan, organize, and manage staff and overall operations that facilitate the stable operation of the bank’s Core Banking and related system Operations. This includes developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing Core Banking initiatives. In collaboration with external vendors, system experts and information security experts the Senior  Manager, Core Banking Systems Support will schedule and direct activities to implement business changes in the  core banking software and service problems in a timely and accurate fashion.

Application Development (40%)  

• Manage and set priorities for design, maintenance, development and evaluation of Core Banking System -T24.
• Manage Core Banking Service Agreements with vendors, Budgets and Supplier Contracts
