• The Clinical Lead ensures that every student receiving individual clinical psychosocial support services is provided with the highest quality of ethical care possible. The Clinical Lead provides clinical supervisors with supervision services, provides psychosocial support to high-risk students, and collaborates with other care providers to ensure students receive the care they need.  

Roles and responsibilities:

• Clinical supervision 
  • Provide clinical supervisors with individual clinical supervision. 
  • Facilitate group clinical case supervision sessions as needed. 
  • Regularly conduct care provider wellness checks. 
  • Implement restorative caregiver wellness solutions. 
• Clinical psychosocial support 
  • The first point of referral by clinical supervisors for high-risk cases requiring immediate intervention. 
  • Handle high-risk student cases. 
  • Take point on managing child welfare/protection case handling. 
• Monitoring and Evaluation 
  • Review clinical supervisor practices to ensure treatment quality and integrity. 
  • Facilitating in-house clinical case conferences. 
  • Ensuring caregiver practices meet ethical and organizational standards. 
• Collaboration and Advocacy 
  • Foster relationships with local care providers to ensure students receive needed support. 
  • Oversee internal and external referrals. 
  • Oversee and approve all clinical case reporting and briefings provided to outside parties, e.g.,
  • schools. 
• Liaison 
  • Provide necessary reports to the Clinical Operation team. 
  • Provide clinical training needs reports to the Clinical Operations team. 
  • Provide supervision reports to the Clinical Operations team. 

Requirements:

• At least an undergraduate degree in psychology, counselling psychology, or social work; a master’s qualification is preferable but not required.
• Minimum of four years of relevant continuous working experience providing counselling/psychotherapy to adolescents.  
• Experience supervising care providers in a mental healthcare setting.  
• Experience working with adolescents in a counselling/psychotherapy setting. 
• Registration with a professional accreditation body e.g., KCPA.  
• Experience in a leadership/team management role in a caregiving setting.  
• Excellent written communication skills, both writing and speaking.  
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to collaborate with others; a positive team player with a strong work ethic and passion for helping others.  

About the role:

• The Intern will work closely with Associates and the Research Manager on organizational research projects. These projects are likely to be at different stages from the obtaining of ethical approvals for research to data collection and analysis. This will allow for the Intern to have a well-rounded experience of different aspects of research readying them to specialize in an area they are particularly passionate about.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Assist to obtain necessary regulatory approvals not limited to ethical approval, research permits, and signed county commissioner/governor letters. 
• Support the submission of clinical trial pre-registration and protocol paper, where appropriate. 
• Support the development of research materials such as questionnaires and study protocols. 
• Assist with quantitative and/or qualitative data collection, including but not limited to focus group assessments. 
• Support training on various topics including data collection and fidelity rating. 
• Oversee and/or assist with questionnaire design, printing, and scanning. 
• Assist with data entry, cleaning, storage, and analysis. 
• Supporting the writing and publishing of manuscripts. 
• Contribute to achieving key performance indicators such as low rates of participant attrition. 
• Assist in organizing and/or presenting research findings to external stakeholders such as in meetings and research conferences.

• Delivering intervention activities by facilitating group sessions.
• Observing punctuality on all matters that concern Shamiri.
• Attending supervision meetings as communicated.
• Recording group sessions attendance.
• Reporting to the supervisors any information necessary promptly.
• Acting, with supervision, to help ensure participant confidentiality, health, and safety.

Requirements

• A minimum of KCSE Grade C.
• Aged between 18-22 years.

Additional info

• Disclaimer: Multiple applications made by a candidate to different hubs will be rejected.
• The contract will run for three months (renewable).

The Intern will work closely with the Social Media Manager and Multimedia Content Producer on the production of content for various communications channels to support internal and external initiatives. In particular the intern will call on their strong graphic design skills to produce visual content that meets user needs through their understanding of visual hierarchies, page layout techniques, interactive designs.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Assist in production of engaging content for internal and external communication materials, such as newsletters, press releases, blog posts and social media content.
• Create visually appealing graphics and videos using various design and video editing tools
• Collaborate with the communication team to develop and execute communication strategies to promote our brand effectively.
• Manage the day-to-day handling of social media channels including Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook and LinkedIn.
• Manage social media communities by responding to social media posts and direct messages.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative ideas to enhance communication efforts

Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, customer pain points, and opportunities for product differentiation. Leverage this knowledge to contribute to the long-term product strategy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
• Proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably in the healthcare or technology industry, with a focus on B2B products.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
