Background
Interpeace is an international organisation for peacebuilding that strengthens the ability of societies to manage conflict themselves in sustainable and non-violent ways. Position within the Organization
The Global Learning and Development Support Officer is a member of the Global Operations Unit which encompasses Finance, IT, Administration, Legal, Internal Audit and HR. The Global Operations Unit is led from the Headquarters office in Geneva, although team members are based in different locations around the world.
Under regular supervision from the Global L&D Officer, the Learning &Development Support Officer will coordinate and manage the day-to-day requirements of the learning and development work. They will work closely with subject matter experts, managers, and HR Officers in the field offices to coordinate and support the development and delivery of effective talent development interventions.
Purpose and General Overview
In line with the Global Operations and HR strategy, the incumbent supports the design and the implementation of talent development interventions for the full employee work life cycle. The responsibilities of the Learning and Development Support Officer cover 3 areas: identification of learning needs, program design and program implementation.
Guided by and under the supervision of the Global L&D Officer, within 2-4 years, a successful L&D Support Officer will have:

Implement all the L&D development initiatives in a timely and effective manner.
Supports the delivery of trainings across the organization within defined timeframes:
Monitors program implementation, reports progress and provides solutions to enhance effectiveness of the learning programmes.
Coordinate the onboarding process of new colleagues across the organisation.
Any other duties assigned to them by their line manager.
