Position requirements: -
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.
- Must possess training in Medical/Nursing Education.
- A Masters Degree in Nursing will be an added advantage.
- Registered with Nursing Council of Kenya.
- At least 2 years experience as a Nurse Tutor.
Dutiesand responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning and implementation of teaching programmes in the training curriculum.
- Overall supervision of clinical teaching programme subjects in hospital/community health setting.
- Demonstrate and teach patient care in a classroom and clinical units to nursing students.
- Prepare and deliver lectures to students on nursing care practices.
- Prepare course materials such as syllabus, assignments and handouts.
- Conduct theory and practical tests and evaluation of students assignments and performance.
- Maintain classroom equipment, supplies and teaching aids,
- Assist in the administration of the School of Nursing,
- Shall carry out any other duties assigned by the Principal School of Nursing.
