About the opportunity

You will support the Awards Management Unit in ensuring the review, implementation, supervision and compliance with the RI’s partnership management tools and processes, RI policies and donor rules and regulations. You will oversee the mapping of current partners and ensure that processes are consistently and diligently followed, from pre-award phase to close-out, including RI’s Due Diligence and Enhance Due Diligence requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Revise the partnership toolkit, design a partnership Manual, and provide relevant training and guidance to RI staff
  • Map key donor partnership requirements and support Country Office and departments in complying with such requirements
  • Map the existing partners for RI in all country programs and participate to the verification of their due diligence documentation
  • Review the Due Diligence processes used by various countries to determine consistent application of processes
  • Provide necessary technical advices and best practices to Country offices to strengthen partners management
  • Complete the donor Due Diligence requirements in the Donor Compliance Matrix
  • Develop a Partnership Master training plan and conduct capacity building workshops for Regional and Country Office staff and major partners

About you

You will bring the following experience and skills.

  • Substantial experience in partnership management with an INGO
  • In depth knowledge of donors compliance for partnership sub granting and management, with experience dealing with US, EU, UN, ECHO etc. donors
  • Experience working with local partners in humanitarian responses
  • Knowledge of core elements and approaches to working in partnerships, including capacity strengthening, monitoring and mapping
  • Demonstrated proficiency with grants, public/private donors grants
  • Strong organizational, analytical and administrative skills, including a strong ability to focus on detail and donor requirements.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet challenging deadlines.
  • Ability to analyze complex organizational challenges and present innovative solutions.
  • Excellent relationship skills and ability to communicate in all forms (written, verbal, negotiation, presentation skills, etc.)
  • Spoken and written Arabic is preferred, but not essential
  • Available to start from February 1, 2023
