Project Development Lead – Mobility 54 Africa Business Unit

We are seeking to recruit a qualified, passionate and self-driven candidate to fill the vacant position of Project Development Lead – Mobility 54 Africa Business Unit, reporting to General Manager – Mobility 54 and based at our Head Office, in Nairobi (sometimes business trips to other cities in Kenya and Uganda).

The purpose of the role is Project development and implementation for Mobility 54 businesses in East Africa.

Mobility 54 Investment SAS (“M54”) is a company registered in France and an affiliate of Toyota Tsusho Corporation (Japan) and CFAO SAS (France) that has investment activities in new technology and services in mobility sector in Africa.

CFAO Motors Kenya has an exciting position for a Mobility54 Business Unit assigned to develop synergy projects with M54’s start-up partners and implement these projects, such as public transport digitalization project, logistics digitalization project, mobility value-chain projects, etc.

The candidate should have project development experience preferably in mobility service sector or digital business sector and capable to develop and implement synergy projects with start-up companies.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, enjoys field work, takes initiative and is willing to meet, discuss and recommend mobility solutions that can uplift the actors in mobility sector.

The ideal candidate should have:

• Bachelors’ Degree in any related field from a recognized University.
• 4 year’s + project development management experience preferably in the mobility service sector or digital business sector.
• Ability to gather, analyse, evaluate and understand data in order to arrive at accurate conclusions and recommendations and make concise concept presentations on the same.
• Strategic thinking, prioritization skills and able to plan and execute under defined procedures.
• Communication: Ability to adapt communication style appropriately to suit a wide range of stakeholders in writing and verbal fluency in both English and Swahili.

• Strong curiosity in new technology and new mobility
