WHAT YOU’LL DO

We are significantly expanding our B2C operations to the major towns in Kenya: Nakuru, Nyeri, Kisumu, Kakamega, Mombasa, Eldoret and Machakos.  We’re looking to add Regional Sales Executives in these regions who will be responsible to source for new opportunities in the regions, managing relationships with distributors, clients, intermediaries, and partners, Finally, you’ll be an excellent people manager, who can coach and grow the team to deliver on sales targets. 

THE ROLE IN BRIEF

  • Sourcing of business opportunities
  • Manage relationships with distributors, clients, intermediaries, and partners
  • Participate in conducting market intelligence and initiating proactive and reactive business growth and retention initiatives
  • Assist to gather marketing intelligence and statistics to facilitate the development of strategies to give the company a competitive advantage in the home and living goods space
  • Participate in the product development lifecycle
  • Follow up on incentives to ensure they are correctly processed and paid on time
  • Adhere to sales tools uptake and usage for channel growth, reporting, and management
  • Manage sales costs to ensure profitability
  • Drive increase in the number of customers, regional sales and growth
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

ARE YOU OUR DREAM CANDIDATE?

  • You have at least 2 years’ experience in a sales role which involved distributor management
  • You have at least 2 years’ experience in a sales team leader role that involved managing a commission-based team
  • You possess excellent sales and marketing management skills
  • You have great leadership and people management skills with proven ability to lead a team to meet quotas
  • You have great multi- tasking skills and can manage multiple parallel initiatives alongside daily operational activities
  • You are computer literate and are proficient in Microsoft office & google sheets
  • You possess a degree/ diploma in a business-related field
