• The Global Data & Analytics Manager for Strategic Marketing will play a crucial role in the Strategic Marketing department (which oversees Sales, Marketing and Customer Experience). The role will be responsible for empowering decision makers with real-time and right-sized data insights and recommendations to improve performance and inform strategies. This role requires an ability to work cross-functionally with country teams and key central functions including Credit, Product, Digital, Finance and others to develop and maintain strong business and technology relationships, becoming a trusted partner to all stakeholders.
• The right candidate will be analytical, curious and have a passion for solving problems through a data-driven, customer-centric approach. Ideally, you would combine your analytical capability with a background in commercial strategy, especially with pricing, customer segmentation, customer experience and customer value management. Main Activities
Business Intelligence, Reporting & Monitoring (approx 30%)

• Develop effective business intelligence strategies and analytics / visualization solutions for Strategic Marketing for use by key decision makers (Global leadership, Managing Directors, Country functional leads, etc.)
• Design, develop and own interactive Tableau dashboards to track key performance indicators, summarize data trends, and to enable EEA markets to manage and monitor their performance
• Generate regular Strategic Marketing reports including: (1) monthly performance reviews; (2) monthly war room content for Global leadership (3) monthly reports to Global and ENGIE leadership; (5) quarterly “Deep Dives” on performance and other key topics by market; (6) preparation of Year in Review; (7) other ad-hoc requests from time to time
• Monitor on an ongoing basis performance against key metrics and agreed targets across EEA and markets, including financial and operational drivers, continuously identifying improvement opportunities, and communicating to key stakeholders

Analytics & Insights (approx 20%)

• Conduct ad-hoc rigorous analysis (including statistical analysis and data modeling) to evaluate strategic marketing performance, to form new insights, to highlight areas for improvement, and to drive decision making and strategies
• Oversee analytics projects to extract, manage, and analyze strategic marketing data from multiple applications or sources (including field research)
• Work closely with EEA Data to develop and validate predictive models, forecasts or other data tools for strategic marketing
• Provide support on broader analytical needs of the EEA Strategic Marketing team, including analysis of pilots, interventions, operations or field research work

Strategy & Planning (approx 20%)

• Work with the Strategic Marketing leadership and with EEA markets to ensure that strategies and plans are data-driven and informed by analytical insights
• Provide leadership and rigor in the development of Strategic Marketing performance targets for each market and for EEA on a consolidated basis, including leading the forecasting and reforecasting processes
• Develop functional goals and priorities for Strategic Marketing analytics and business intelligence which align with the overall strategy for EEA
• Design, scope out, implement, manage and monitor specific projects and initiatives to improve the accuracy, effectiveness and/or efficiency of EEA’s Strategic Marketing analytics and business intelligence outputs
• Keep abreast of industry best practices and standards for performance analysis, reporting, etc.
• Serve as a key stakeholder for the EEA Pricing Committee, advising country teams

Management, Training & Capacity Development (approx 20%)

• Lead a team of analysts (currently 2), including full responsibility for coaching and their professional development
• Manage the team’s work plan and workload to ensure delivery of agreed goals
• Work with EEA leadership and country leadership to enable decision makers to access and interpret BI tools, reports and analytical outputs, and to understand and analyze their performance an ongoing basis
• Coach country analysts to develop their analytical skills or their capacity to build localized dashboards and data views

Processes, Systems & Standards (approx 10%)

• Document and standardize business rules and definitions for key processes and metrics to ensure alignment of all stakeholders
• Work closely with other stakeholders and data users across the company to create and maintain controls systems and review standards which ensure data quality and prevent discrepancies
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts and engineers to ensure and improve data availability, integrity, accuracy, and reliability

Knowledge and skills Experience:

• At least 6–10 years work experience in fields such as in data analysis, statistics, financial analysis, business analysis, or similar, particularly in sectors like retail financial services or telecommunications
• Exceptional analytical skills and business judgement, with the ability to synthesize and interpret qualitative and quantitative data into practical strategy recommendations
• Able to query databases using SQL (requirement), experienced with data visualization tools (Tableau, D3, ggplot, etc.), financial modelling using Excel, and comfortable with basics of with database management, data engineering, basic accounting and financial reporting

• We are seeking an experienced and qualified Global Labour Law Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in pro-actively and reactively managing ethics cases, separations, dismissals, fraud cases, and grievances. This role will be instrumental in continuing to establish an ethical EEA culture. As the Global Labor Law Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for our external legal firms. The role will involve the process to select a panel of legal firms for which an RFP will be required. The role will require effective and efficient cost management for the external legal panel.

• Handle mutually agreed separations, dismissals.

• The Area Administrator is responsible for Customer experience in the Service Centers, logistics and stock and handover of products to customers that are eligible.

Responsibilities

• To observe and record 100% accuracy handover per shop, For each handover, all relevant documents (corresponding customer contract, proof of ID, customer declaration form etc.) are scanned & uploaded per customer via Mysol go

Job Overview

The Customer Finance Team plays a pivotal role in ensuring the overall success of our largely unbanked customers in completing their loans and getting continued access to clean, reliable energy. The team works cross-functionally with our commercial, customer experience, product development and operations on the ground to ensure that we provide all customers with successful responsible onboarding and offer constant support through adequate monitoring and interventions all the way through the lifetime of our customers’ loans.

The Customer Finance Operations Manager will be fundamental to the successful implementation of our Customer Finance Strategy and in achieving our ambitious goals. S/he will work cross-functionally with a wide range of teams acting as the “eyes, ears and mouth” of the field teams in their responsibilities related to collections. They’ll work extremely closely with the Commercial Team to support in effectively carrying out Customer Finance related field activities by building out operational processes, systems and tools and making sure the right people get training and support to perform their role in the credit cycle and customer account management. They will work with the Head of Customer Finance and the Global team to ensure application of operational best practices across the credit cycle. They will also lead (from the Customer Finance side) the implementation and operationalization of new processes and innovations that come out of pilots run by the Customer Finance team.

The roles requires the Field Operations Manager to spend at least 40% of her/his time in the field.

Responsibilities

Field Team Activity Monitoring & Oversight – 20%

• Work closely with Commercial, CX and CF teams to align on ambitious but achievable targets and benchmarks for the activities to be carried out in the field related to collections and repossessions and the targeted outcomes on credit performance improvement

• Directly Manage the Fraud and Repossession coordinator making sure that these sensible operations are being adequately supervised and monitored
• Coordinate weekly team call with Regional Trainers and Regional Managers to identify actions and help in prioritization, activity planning, support on resources required, and to review actions of prior week and results

• Ensure that all current field standards and processes are well documented, regularly updated, and made available to applicable team members for reference and development of training materials
• Help foster and encourage a “culture of credit”, understanding of and compliance to standards and performance management against credit KPIs amongst our customer facing teams

Continuous Improvement of Escalation Standards, Process & Workflow Design & Tools – 10%

• Lead the implementation of new standard processes, digital tools and workflows, getting buy-in from the implementing team and ensuring they have the right tools, resources and support to successfully roll out
• Get regular feedback and ideas from field teams to improve how we run our field operations and improve our processes and tools
• Identify pain points/areas for improvement in the overall credit escalation framework and standard processes and bring teams together to work on ideas/plans to address key pain points in the escalation path or key processes.
• Work with the Head of Customer Finance and the Head of Commercial to ensure our field compensation schemes are incentivizing the appropriate behavior we want to see reflected in the field and optimizing credit performance
• Support Field Team Digital Tools requirements gathering, improvement and optimization, identifying gaps in the current systems or areas for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of existing Field Operations processes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management – 10%

• Collaborate closely with the call center and field teams to ensure coordination of activities related to the credit cycle, the credit escalation framework and the overall customer journey
• Attend commercial performance review and strategy meetings to ensure close and constant collaboration with Commercial teams
• Collaborate with other EEA market teams & EEA Global team to leverage best practices from EEA Kenya, implement best practices from the EEA network and brainstorm solutions to common challenges.

• Minimum University degree in Economics, Banking, Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 4+ years’ work experience in a similar role coordinating, supporting or managing field team activities, particularly in sectors like credit collections, retail financial services, or other related fields.

• Effectively conduct risk-based audits as per the approved plan, develop risk assessments of key processes and develop audit programs with testing procedures relevant to risk and audit objectives. This should be done in accordance with Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal auditing.
• Carry out fieldwork by executing audit procedures to verify the adherence and effectiveness of internal controls through testing and engaging with relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare timely audit reports and discuss the audit findings and the respective recommendations with the Departmental Heads to have the identified control gaps closed.
• Regularly monitor to ensure that audit recommendations and management commitments have been implemented by management, by way of follow up audits and Audit Issue tracking.
• Foster a culture of risk awareness within the company and continuously market the Internal Audit Function across the organisation, by maintaining productive client, staff and management relationships through individual contacts and regular meetings.
• Coordinate the internal audit activities with those of external auditors and make follow ups of the implementation of the auditors’ recommendations by management.
• Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards.
• Uphold extremely high ethical standards.

Experience And Skills
Experience :

• At least 3-5 years of experience required in internal audit, controlling or finance.
• Solid and secure accounting skills
• Experience with risk assessment and internal control systems is a must.
• Experience in an audit firm is a must.
• Pronounced analytical skills, high attention to detail and independent way of working.
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports.
• Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules, and regulations
• Sound independent judgement

Qualifications:

• A University degree in business,
• Certification as a CIA, CPA, ACCA or CISA.

Language(s):

• English
• French and/or Portuguese is a plus.

Technology :

• Have solid experience in MS Office applications.

• The Zonal Sales and Collection Officer will be responsible for recruitment, retention and training of agents and support the Zonal Sales and Collection Manager in sales and collection.

Responsibilities

• Trainings of agents within the zones.
• Conduct and support customer education clinics within the zone.
• Develop individualized training plans for underperforming agents through trade accompaniment.
